Millbrook Resort, Day two

the 8th at Millbrook Resort, Queenstown

This morning you will travel to Millbrook Resort, a beautiful 30-minute drive from Queenstown to play golf at their International course. Enthusiasts from around the world enjoy Millbrook's spectacular par 72 championship golf course, designed by New Zealand's renowned master golfer, Sir Bob Charles. Set amidst a spectacular alpine amphitheatre, strategic use of water sand traps ensures exciting and demanding golf. Measuring 6,412 metres (7,013 yards) from the back tees, the design emphasises the natural features of the site, each hole having its own particular identity in terms of both strategy and landscape setting.

Relaxing at Millbrook For the members of your party who do not wish to play golf, we suggest a trip to Arrowtown. Arrowtown is an old gold mining town established in the 1860's by gold-hungry miners from around the world. It is now a combination of historic buildings, striking seasonal changes and quiet charm. There is plenty to do from visiting the local museum, to browsing the shops or taking a walk along the river.

We will all meet at Millbrook for a light lunch in the Clubhouse. There will then be plenty of time to indulge in a spa treatment, to have a swim in the heated pool or to relax by the open fire before travelling back to Queenstown.

This evening we have booked you into one of most exclusive restaurants in Queenstown, its reputation is so good; it has never advertised and has no signage on the building.
